We specialize in working with nonprofits that are navigating the transition from international leadership to local leadership and/or co-leadership models.

Our Leadership Evolution Program is a high-touch engagement designed to meet each organization where it is and help leaders develop a concrete roadmap for near- and long-term success.

By combining deep, individualized coaching, tailored organizational support, and structured opportunities for peer learning, we are able to meet each nonprofit where they are and create a community of leaders who can learn with and from each other.

  • Executive Coaching

One-on-one coaching is foundational to this Program and is an area where Daraja Partners is uniquely positioned to draw on our lived experience as leaders who have navigated this transition ourselves. Solomon will provide one-on-one coaching to the local leaders in the cohort, while Jessie will work directly with their International counterparts (whether that is an International Director, Board Chair, etc.)

  • Tailored Organizational Support

We recognize that any successful leadership transition requires significant organizational realignment and that these shifts look different for each organization. To that end, this Program offers a structured approach designed to help each organization align around common goals and create a roadmap for the future. We will bring the leadership pairs from each organization together for a series of working sessions focused on providing customized support to meet their specific needs.

  • Leaders Cohort

We have seen the power that comes when you are able to leverage shared experience and build a community of leaders grappling with similar challenges and opportunities. That is why we believe in organizing this work around a cohort model. This model operates on two levels – first, it offers an opportunity for the entire group of leaders to come together and share experiences, and second, it offers the space for local leaders and their international counterparts to connect with small groups of their peers and share the experiences that are specific to them.
